Given that lesbians don't like men, why more often than not does one of the women in the relationship look like a man? Doesn't this prove the more "feminine" lesbian in the relationship is really a frustrated hetrosexual at heart ?

I assume you meen the lesbians of your aquaintence?

I do not imagine you are speaking for an entire section of the community - or we are back where we started with this thread!
I'm not being unfair or anything but it kind of seems that way...
It seems that one of the two lesbians envolved wants to dominate the other one to show they can be the boss even if they aren't a man.
Personally I don't like the idea of gay people (homosexuals,bi-sexuals, lesbians, gays...) letting nearly EVERYONE know they are gay etc. and I'm thinking: "Why do they do this?" The human mind works in a weird way.
But, you can't judge anyone by just one thing can you? It's just my opinion. :)
MrBen5 - so you have actually spoken to all Lesbians and they have all given you intimate details of a) their sex lives, B) their sexual likes and dislikes and c) details of their previous lives and relationships. Somehow I doubt it and yet again we come up against the sweeping generalisations based on one man's preconceptions.

So what if some (and I emphasise 'some') Lesbians have had failed relationships with men, surely that merely underlines their inability to bond with a man and it would surprise me if they hadn't at least tried a hetero relationship. We have only just arrived at acceptance of homosexuality and the period just prior to this acceptance was torment for homosexuals. They were ostracised by their own families, had to hide their feelings at work and were to some extent persecuted for being different from what so many people consider 'the norm'.

Live and let live, they do no one any harm.
did anyone see hollyoaks later last night? there were two of em on there!! phwoaar!!
It's as much of a sweeping generalisation as trying to stereotype a heterosexual relationship or people in general.

You have obviously never met my sister and sister in law!
Who are 2 of the most feminine and stunning women I know!
Neither of them are butch in anyway, and both are your normal make up wearing long haired women!

So, I cant really see any sense in your question! :-)
