Can someone talk sense to me here ? If you found out your partner had been emailing women on the internet, hours after you split up, then got back together a few days later, and he kept this email correspondence hidden from you, and you found out and saw all the emails, and they say it was ok cos there were single - what would your answer be ? Help....Im confused...

Been in your situation - it will not change, you will not have trust and if you can't deal with that get out now. I got out - I did not like the suspicious person I became.

i agree with the last post.

Someone in your psyche you know that you knew he was not committed to you - this manifested/ was evidenced finally with his emails and texting but i would say you have probably always felt there is a problem here but because you think you are "in love" you chose to ignore or deny your intuition.

I say this because like the above, i was in a relationship with a man who had lady friends on the internet , who told me he loved me but little, non important , even inconsequential things happened that when talked about, seemed stupid and i honestly thought i was going mad - but you know i was right, he was a cad. Albeit a clever one , and always seemed to be able to make it my fault................... i even had the im single email thing within days of us splitting, but whilst he was telling me he loved me and wanted to get back.

in fact i saw his emails and he wrote the above one to me 5 mins after writing to someone telling them he was single !!

you arent confused, you are in denial, because the thought of not being "in love" frightens you.......................

why is that i wonder ?
