why does he ignore me on msn

i met a guy on holiday a few weeks ago we has already met previously earlier in last year where it ws obvious he liked me. at the party 2 weeks ago we danced and he told me he likes me and asked for my msn he also asked when i would be coming back. i gave him my msn and said we would be back (cos we will) but in 5 months.
when i got back home we spoke twice in about 3 days but now he ignores me and is apparently "busy" when i sign on.
am i too clingy?
or will he talk nearer the time when i will be visitng again?
