Do women or men that havent married feel insecure about where they stand if the relationship breaks down!

This question is bit vague . in what way would you think anyone would feel " unsure as to where they stand " ?.

The only differance i could imagine is the question of parental rights , however this issue has seen many changes in law of late.

Other than that i do not see any question as to where " one stands " being relative ..

If the relationship breaks down, then if one or both partners are no longer willing to work on the relationship then it should be deamed over and void. " cold it may sound, but practical"

I'd think if the love is true, both parties will feel the same awful way if their relationship were to go sour.

i had a long relationship that ended without being married and i was left with heavy debt from joint purchases. she just walked away and i had to sort it all out.
