I am dating someone but its abit rocky because this guy isn't showing as much interest as he initially did.
He's now gone away for a week, I saw his best friend in a club and he came over, we had a little dance (which I guess wasn't the best thing I coulda done) but anyway, that night, he called and we were having a good chat bout me and his friend - the guy I'm dating, and I told him that I liked the guy I'm dating but not sure how he feels bout me. He said 'I'll try patching you guys up' and I was like 'you can't do nothing if he's not interested' and he replied ' you don't know what he tells me' and then said 'don't worry, I got ya back, I'll sort it out'. Which I'm appreciative of.
BUT my guy is still on holiday and his friend calls me quite abit. He called once and said 'Hey gorgeous' and invited me out to a night out of clubbing which I declined. I once told him that he's his mate's friend not mine and its not cool him calling me all the time, he replied saying 'there's nothing wrong with that and that if anything, my friend would be appreciative that am looking out for his woman'......
guys do you think I can trust him? and trust that he'll patch things up - this is the reason I exchanged numbers with him in the first place so he could help me out, he told me he wants me to be his 'sister-in-law' as his mate is like a brother to him.......what should I do if he calls? not answer? i don't wanna get the wrong side of his friend or he could make or break me and the guy I'm dating :-(

This guy maybe genuine and actualy trying to be friends with his friends " girl " , however taking you out and about town will only cause other people to talk and your boyfriend will here this talk , what he makes of it will be up to his own imagination. " but im sure you can see where im coming from " especialy as this man did not have your number prior to your boyfriend going away.
By all means it is not written that men and women cannot be friends , however when in a relationship " especialy when the partner is absent " , you should be careful not to give the wrong impression. " simply because i see so many people coming here saying he is jealous and i do not know why ". i am guessing here but i think maybe your boyfriends friend is single. i can only imagine how it would look to your boyfriend .
You should talk with your boyfriend and tell him how you feel and find out how he feels and both work from there , involving a third party can only make things more complicated. " im not saying dont be a friend to his friends , just be careful they dont misunderstand or anyone else for that matter.
Hope this helps

Have you thought that maybe you are being a bit arrognat. This fella may actually be a genuine, nice guy; who looks after his mates interests whilst the mate is away.
Maybe you are not gods gift to men, maybe he is gay, maybe he is trying to tap off with you? Who knows?
What I reckon is that he is after your bloke, and is trying to get you onside before suggesting a 'menage a trois' that involves your bf getting more attention than he's ever had before.
Hope this helps :)
