When you say you were unhappy - is this because of your partner? When a baby comes along, things do change in the relationship and I suppose you need to think through whether there is anything in the relationship worth saving. If it really is over, then two things. Make sure the new guy is in a place to make you happy - you know, is he available and how will he get on with your kid? About the money and benefits - why not ask Citizens Advice what your rights are? You could also go back to the home choice people and explain that you are looking for a place ( I presume you are taking the baby) Good luck. Mairs
