Just returned home after meeting ex-husband for a drink and to talk over some joint policy stuff....we keep in touch but I have not seen him face to face in 3 years...I was soo sooo nervous...but now I have seen and chatted with him I feel so low ! ! ! I did not expect to feel like this, I feel very empty and weird....he was very complimentary about how good I looked etc....part of me misses him....he is stil cute....passing phase I suppose I will feel ok in the morning...

wernt there any bad points you could well on instead?
You will, it's a roller-coaster thing. I met OH #1 two years after we separated, to talk divorce stuff. It was weird, partly felt extraordinarily normal but I knew I could walk away afterwards. I've had little contact since, that was 20 years old.

I really have no idea, I didnt ask, its none of my business.......but he says not, lol......
sorry I'd written a big answer then had spider incident, I'll start again. A few years ago a gay mate of mine was coming down to visit from Scotland with his new boyfriend. He wanted to see all his old closest mates so I had to have a meal with my ex. He cheated on me and is still a big love cheat now. Had the meal went ok, then after I text him and said 'so were you tempted?' I knew what would be next and he repled with 'were you?' to which I replied of course not he's gay! ha ha
in my experience when i start to feel like that about a ex i remind myself just why we split up in the first place. Accept his complement about you looking good if anything its a massive confidence boost :-)
I posted a very similar post to this a fortnight ago RQ. I know exactly how you feel, and I was very disconcerted for a week after I met up with him the last time. SOmething like this does make you wonder if you made the right decision - but, like me, I'm sure you know you ultimately did.
