Does he like me? Hmmm?
I've been working temporary in this place and this guy has been hanging around me for the past few weeks - towards the beginning he was a bit flirty..lots of grinning, odd glances.. then when I told him I was leaving he acted a bit more serious...

He asked what day I was finishing.

On my last day - just before I finished he just appeared! And said so is today really your last day? He said can I kiss you hand!?

I was like are you serious? really? He said yeah I want to kiss your hand...

I was totally shy and kind of held out my hand and he held it...and kissed it very lightly and then he said I love you and keep in touch!? All so weird and then when he shuffled off I realised he never asked for my number...

So silly me left a note in his pigeon hole saying "if you need a hand to kiss call me...

Do you think this was ok or have I made myself too easy...

He never asked me for my details though...

just wondered what it was with the kissing my hand...

and then afterwards he kind of looked a bit shy...

The ball is in his court as he has my number!

Obviously, without sight or sound of the guy in question, it's hard to judge but -

he sounds quite shy, and i think his way of expressing interest is very gallant and nicely old-fashioned.

You must like him a little to leave a noite, but you have followed in his courtly fashion, so no, you have not made yourself 'easy'.

If he is interested, he will contact you, if not, nothing lost. I hope he does, because I think you'd like it if he did.

Aaww! It sounds like a proper movie romance! Very old fashioned and if things work out will be the best "How we got together" story!

However that said, it also sounds promising and as you say, the ball is in his court. I think you've done the right thing and no it doesn't sound desperate or easy.

Ooh really need to watch Dogma! Ideally I'd like to be like whats-her-face in Sleepless in Seattle or maybe Bridget Jones (when she's with Colin Firth) or the foreign girl in Love Actually (also with Colin Firth!)
