I would hope she's feeling bad about herself.

Plus she shouldn't come with your brother if his wife has been feeling poorly...
is this your sister's baby?

maybe your mother is feeling bad. either way just go and get her, and go see the baby.
Maybe she didn't want to trouble you when you ahve a newborn, then thought better about how it may have come across. Is there any reason she would want to upset you?

I'd just collect her, you don't want bad feeling between family at a time like this
I would say-i thought you wanted to come with my brother! say it's not convenient.
Is there background here? I don't think this came out of the blue.
perhaps your mum is worried that youll cause a scene

The back ground is she is afraid of upsetting my brother incase he thinks well my wife is unwell and mum wants to go and be happy this was her own words that she did,nt want him thinking that !!!

I am sorry but that pissed me off .. how can you compare a life in that manner. ii mean this is her grandson. for heavon sake.

i almost feal like saying dont worry just look after your daughter in law see the baby when you can
just go get her then. Stop looking so much into it.
As 4get says -- don't read too much into this scenario. Just say to Mum if you would like to see the baby give me a ring and I'll come and collect you.Afraid that Mum's can be a tad insensitive at times.I know I am often.
nobody is legally required to visit grandchildren if they don't want to. If you don't want to take her, don't, though it would seem rather mean to refuse. Why get so cross with someone for changing their mind?
