weight watchers pro points
9 Answers
decided to try this one as my DIM "do it myself" diet didn't seem to be working. I've bought the books and calculator etc on-line - but am a bit confused about how many points i'm supposed to have. i thought the minimum was 29 a day and then the 49 over the week - but my friend in work says she has only 21 a day (and its propoints she's doing) - does anyone know please? 36, 5ft 3ish, 12st 3ish. thanks x

Keep yourself to 20 and save up the balance for a treat in what you crave,
In my case, it was cheese.......
I also found the Canyon Ranch cookbook a godsend - really nice flavoursome recipes and allowed you to seriously stay in the points - make sure you have plenty of mustards in stock!
I am male and followed the points down behind the missus who went for the weigh-ins. I just did it in the bathroom and plotted the results on to a graph - and remember no more than minus a kg a week - beyond this, you start to become a candidate for a gall bladder op, especially if you are over forty, fat, fair and freckled...... (sorry to be blunt).
I lost 3 stone by this method over 6 months.....
Good luck

well done on your weight loss DT - that's fantastic! and i may well keep an eye out for that book! (as far as gallstones are concerned - had my gallbladder removed 18 months ago after going through a very stressful time and not eating my way through it - foolish i know!). since then i've piled the weight on, had a baby, and piled more on!! i'm determined not to be a fatty in time for his 1st birthday party though! THanks for the advice xxx
