Especially if you haven't got much to lose
Your first loss can be down to loosing water, which is usually why it's always the biggest.
There are SO many factors in why you may have not lost weight, the most important being that you have probably lost inches, as opposed to pounds! :-)
You should be looking to lose between 2-3lbs per week, although this really does depend on lots of things, like age and how much you've got to lose.
Don't beat yourself up about it, and stick to weighing once a week. Well done for sticking to it, it takes a lot of willpower! :-)

i have loads and loads to lose! (but i'm setting small goals at first)
i am enjoying the plan, and am doing it myself online so had no-one to discuss it with.
I had planned to measure myself once a month but I just measured myself and i have lost an inch off my waist and 1/2 inch off my hips and thighs. Thanks for the encouragement. I feel much better x x

my daughter was disappointed this week that she hadn't lost any weight until she measured herself and found she'd lost half an inch from her waist and hips.
My granddaughter started school in September and my daughter has had to walk 80 mins each school day so we think she must be gaining muscles!
Have you taken your measurements in case it's the same for you?

Don't lose heart, keep at it, it will come off, both me and my daughter started following the WW original points plan in March, we have found one of the best things to do is to keep a food diary and write everything down, even if you do cheat or have a slight lapse. My daughter has lost 3 ½ stones and I have lost just over 2 stones, we have been eating almost the same things, so obviously age and exercise comes into it. Also I have got more to lose than she did. We have got Zumba for the Wii, I found it hurt my knee, I think I have a touch of arthritis in it, but daughter has been doing it.
A great dieters cook book is the Canyon Ranch book, crisgal.
They have plenty on line too - meets all the WW points and tastes good.
