The extra easy isn't that different from the the old red/green days. You can eat meat, fish etc AND potatoes, rice, pasta etc but you can only have 2 healthy extras, I a and 1 b as opposed to the 2 a's and 2 b's on the old plan. Have you joined a SW club? They should assist you. I didn't think it would work but have lost 2 stone in 9 months, a friend has lost 5 stone in the same time!! The magazine gives a 7 day menu so is a good way to get started. Keep at it, it really works and it's healthy.
