Basically what I am wanting to know is can you lose body fat without it showing much on the scales????
Ive been eating healthy for 2 weeks but havent followed a plan!
Ive had no chocolate or any processed food whatsoever!. Been having fresh chicken, fish, turkey, beef, eggs, cheese(very little) veg, fruit wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta and nuts (brazil, walnut hazlenut or pecan) porridge, weetabix shredded wheat, and drinking about 5 glasses of water. I got weighed today and I have lost 2.5lb in 2 weeks. Feeling a bit dissapointed as getting married in 6 weeks and was hoping to lose about a stone. My waist bands feel looser but it doesnt show on the scales!!

In addition it does seem to have a delayed effect - the benefits of your diet don't show for about 4 weeks.
So just carry on being sensible as you are doing and don't give up. And keep going after the wedding if you still need to lose weight!

That is not bad for two weeks. You should find that you will go through stages where you will lose a bit more and then abit less. but if you are losing and continuing to lose then you are doing well. Dont get disheartened keep it up well done.
The saying is it takes 3 weeks to develope a habit and three weeks to break one, so keep going and you will lose the craving for the naughty things.

It is unusual not to show much weight loss as the following happens...
Week 1 - should lose several pounds as your body clears out what is already in the system.
Week 2 - not much weight loss (if any) as the body sees something is up with incoming food levels so attempts to retain as much as possible to counteract.
Week 3 - body now sees food intake as normal and starts to release fat to compensate.
So from week 3 onwards you should see steady weight loss but some form of exercise will help. Essentially you need to eat less calories than you are burning to expedite loss.

Yes absolutely, you can lose fat and water weight and put on lean muscle so the scales will show you as not having lost anything but you will feel tighter, fit into smaller clothes and get compliments from others that have noticed.
Are you exercising at all?

If you are adding muscle then that weighs more than fat, so yes it is possible to lose fat yet remain the same weight or even go up. Although it's more often the case that (unless you have been trying to put on muscle) there has been a misunderstanding regarding the connection between healthy and low energy food. Healthy is good but need not be low in calories. One should note what one is consuming.
2.5 lbs is a loss in any case. One ought not expect a large drop in short time, that wouldn't be healthy anyway.
Be aware, exercise for weight loss isn't that effective. One has to do a lot of exercise to burn off the calories in a simple snack. Intake is key. But I think you just need to adjust your short term expectations.
