Onwards and Downwards Continues in March 2014
Hello all,
Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.
Let's have some really new ideas about seasonal produce. Had a look here to find out what we should be eating in UK at this time:

Then found this yummy looking recipe for a chicken caserole:

So what else can you offer us to keep the hunger pangs at bay using seasonal veg?
Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

Good Morning All, Down 2 lbs again. I can't believe it. This has been going on for ages but it must be the smaller portions. That is over a stone since Christmas. Good luck to the rest of you today and I do know that luck has nothing to do with it!

Well peeps, I weighed on Tuesday but had stayed static - which doesn't surprise me since we had fish and chips, and buns, at the weekend :-)
However - I went to the GP yesterday for the result of my latest cholesterol blood test, and he told me that the reading is now 5.6 - which is considerably better than previous months, and not too far away from the recommended upper limit of 5. He's really pleased, both with that and the weight loss, so I haven't got to go back to for 4 months, just keep up the good work :-)

Ah that's what I should be doing is it ?
Well done the non-gainers. Here's looking towards next time for the rest.
I think this week shows what happens when I'm off work, using up leave before I lose it, but remain at home in control (I won't be at my own place soon).
Apparently lost 3 lbs ! It'll be interesting to see if it stays off whilst I'm away.

I put on this week, but I know wht - two parties with celebratory cake at the weekend, and an errant sausage roll fell into my mouth yesterday.
I do worse on days when I'm at work, when I eat what's convenient.
