Hello all,
Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.
Well, the summer wasn't as hot as we expected was it? So perhaps it was less tempting to dip into the freezer for some ice cream :-)
Seasonal food available now includes cabbage, haddock, lamb, beetroot and chicory.

This looks really yummy and full of goodness, apart from the halloumi which you could cut out or substitute for a healthier version.

We keep being told we should be eating more fish so how about this simple fish supper.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I shall not believe it until Wednesday confirmation but : it seems being away from home and given all the wrong things like milk coffees and milk hot chocolates, and slices of cream cake, I get back and this morning the scales claim I've gone *DOWN* ! 8.4 lbs no less. Surely that is not possible over 10 days ? I'm beginning to think I know nothing about this dieting thing. Can't be all water surely ? I feel bigger.
