Anyone?
I have known a couple of people - not close friends - who I worked with and they have lost a lot of weight. What do you need to know cassa? I'm sure that you have counselling before you get close to the op

I just really wanted to check how much and what sort of food you are supposed to be able to eat.

I had a gastric by-pass three years ago but it didn't work properly and had to have two further operations to fix it.

For my money it doesn't, and probably will never, work as efficiently as
it would if it had gone smoothly at the begining. If I know how much it doesn't I can try to compensate and make changes based on how it should. If that makes sense?

I'm sure DieselDick had a gastric bypass. Hopefully he'll see this post

I am almost sure I shouldn't be able to eat a 6inch subway, full roast dinner and bowl of pasta (not all of them at the same time anyway lol).

no its certainly small portions after a period of quite restrictive eating from what I was told. The wife of a chap who had it done was worried that they would not be able to enjoy a meal out together because he couldn't eat a full meal Now she has a starter and they share a main sorted

The trouble is that because of the nature of the problem they had to try to fix twice means that I am able to eat far more than generally accepted for a by-pass.

For me it will remain a ***er because I paid a large amount of money for it and it simply doesn't actually do the job properly.

A tea plate just doesn't cut it and TBH the consistency of what I can eat is also not as expected. Can or indeed should a by-assert be able to eat a six inch subway with ease? I think not but don't know for sure.
