It must have gone from your face and shoulders.
It depends on how much weight you have to lose.

1 stone out of 20 stone is not much but 1 stone out of 4 is!

Its all relative.

well I wouldn't be 20 - was 13stone7lbs now down to 12.7lb.

Tilly - you're right - when I used to lose weight years ago - it fell off the top of the body but I'd liked to have come off bottom of body ie bum. Do have quite thin legs and ankles.
Are your scales actually working - have you checked yourself on your surgery scales?
Question Author
Yep - I have weighed on 3 different scales and still the same. Remember I haven't had a drink in 3 months so maybe that has helped. I used to drink beer.
Maybe you have lost the fat around your internal organs.
Have you measured yourself?

Last Friday I was going out for a meal and pulled out brand new trousers which I didn't think would fit - put them on surreptitiously and hey ho - they fitted - in fact they were loose. It was a great feeling especially when one usually swells up after having a meal but no still felt great. Onwards and Upwards.
You said that your clothes don't feel any different, JJ.
Question Author
If I get to 11stone I would be very happy cos I will be able to get into far more clothes. Never will I be 8 and half stone again nor wish to be - too old - weight loss at an older age shows up in the face.
Question Author
Yes Tilly I did say that looking back at the first op - I maybe meant some clothes - as I say the new trousers fitted like a dream. oooops.
Are you particularly short? You have implied previously that you are a larger lady but your weight doesn't suggest that to me at all, unless you are of a diminutive stature.
Question Author
Oh no not diminutive - average for a woman
OK, you being over weight is not a national secret but your height is.........
Question Author
is a national secret
I don't mind anyone knowing that I'm 5' 4".
Absolutely flipping bonkers as ever.

Would love to help but traipsing through the barmy stuff is too much like hard work.

Sorry.
JJ - be honest wit yourself
