After a two week pit stop I’m off and running again. Six pounds more and the finish line will be crossed but, as others have experienced this last bit slows down. I know why I am, eating a tiny bit more here and a wee bit more there. It’s ok now and then but not every day.

A very good morning....I have just hit my goal! I’ve lost 18 kilos since the beginning of September last year. Five of those kilos were water retention due to an illness. I’m on cloud nine. I intend to carry on with the way I eat, my walks and needless to say my rehab training. I never want to be where I was when I began. I feel so much better. There’s going to be a lot of clothes shopping involved when I get my summer clothes out. Even my shoe size has gone down one size.
Ask whatever you like. I retired early when my employer imposed unacceptable changes to the job and refused to admit that had changed the job and that I should have been offered redundancy. Now-a-days I spend my time feeling guilty about all the things I ought to do but can't drag up the enthusiasm for. Still it's nice to be out of the rat race. I should be getting off the Net and trying to grab some more sleep as I awoke hours ago, but I've not found enough interest to do that yet.
Here's me OG If I can sleep until 5 I consider myself lucky, but I don’t get up until then regardless. I get as much done in the house as I can before eight when I have breakfast. I’m an OAP housewife so my lot in life is no retirement...not complaining. I’ve been a teacher in Canada and cabin crew here but a homemaker beats both those jobs for me. I get my socialising done in other ways outside the house and as my name suggests I have a hobby that more than enough fills up any space I have in my day.
here we go me too retired from nursing for many years .like xstitcher I have to get my jobs done in the morning preferably before 9. If I am knocked out of my routine I don't like it . I am not obese but have struggled with weight all my life . Never been slim slim normally around 10 stone but gradually crept up a few but I am managing to keep in check and still have a few naughties . stayed the same again .At my age I am not going to deprive my self of a treat .But I still have to be sensible .
