Thank you,
Thanks ed
Good morning all, had my ballon artery expansion yesterday and it went really well. They put 2 stents up from my arm. The before and after scan pictures are just fantastic. Since I had no symptoms I feel no difference but it’s early days. I would think that I would feel something different. The procedure took 1 1/2 hours.
That's brilliant, you should notice a difference when you start to exercise, if you had angina it should be better and you may find things are just that bit easier. Carry on recovering and see how much further you can go.
Good to hear of progress. :-D

Meanwhile I'm back up again. 1.4lbs apparently; 0.4 of them over the last 24 hours :-(
We should start planning for the Christmas onslaught of calories.
Christmas isn't too bad for me, I will be at mums and I will have the meat and veg and skip the roasties. Dessert will be fruit and ice cream and it will be easy to avoid the other bad stuff as my sister will snaffle it all. I won't have anything christmassy in the flat to come back to my only real treat will be a few glasses of wine and maybe a mince pie. Keeping it to one day works well for me.
Good morning all, am back to normal after the procedure. Re Christmas....I have one bady which is the turkey bread stuffing and being careful about it isn’t an option. No stuffing no Christmas. The rest of the Danish delicacies aren’t a threat for me as they have nothing to do with my childhood Christmas. Your mother sounds like a sensible eater Rowan.
Hmph ! Yesterday I was 0.8 lbs down compared to last Tuesday :-) but today I'm up 0.2 lbs compared to last Wednesday :-(
No she cooks in dripping but she will do some new potatoes for me, she is the original high fat, high sugar lots of salt type. Still at 85 she can't change now. If I had that much fat it would be Christmas in the smallest room. I might take some sugar free biscuits with me.
Morning not posted last week but have been on my plan of doing my menus for the week and been reasonable good and still stayed the same but that is nearly target weight but would like to lose a few pounds in the next few weeks .
OG you make me dizzy lol but you are doing the right thing and staying with us .I know I would probably gain if I didn't keep up with this posts .
Did someone mention xmas ? lol
I didn't eat that well yesterday. Toast for breakfast was ok; but lunchtime I was out and ended up having a short sausage roll, and as I was still peckish, a slice of cake :-O Come the evening ended up at an Indian restaurant I'd not been to before for a vegetable dish with vegetable sides. Not worked out the kC yet but bound to have been a bad day. Must compensate with a good one today.

Xmas is unsettled for me this year. Can see me heading towards the bottle of port and an M&S frozen Xmas meal ! Ah well, a change is as good as a rest.
2lb down this week. Just hovering on the 19st Mark. It's that barrier. Switching more of my teas to black coffee and increasing protein a little seems to be helping. It's soooo slow but things are mostly second nature now. Friend staying next week and he wants to lose weight too so it will be a week of teaching tips and tricks. The best way to test what you know is teaching. I will send him home with some seeds for sprouting, and some spices. When I stayed with him I tried to cook, mixed herbs, cinnamon and msg powder ... I have a big cupboard half full. When you don't have fat to carry flavour you need to big up the seasoning
Down 1 lb from last week, even though up over the last 24 hours.
Well at least we're going in the right direction.
Whoa....better late than never I suppose. Are you still going down OG.
Just bought some 10% Greek yougurt Rowan. I mix it with mayo for my Cole slaw. It tastes better than using normal yougurt.
The weird bit is that over the last 24 hours I actually managed to stay within the daily allowance, rare enough of late; yet over 7 days I dropped, while over those 24 hours I went up. Ah well.
Morning OG up and down like a yo yo again but I have stayed the same which I am ok with .I think everyone has gone xmas shopping .
Good morning all. Now is the time to grab that pre Christmas will power and put it into top gear. I don’t believe in rules and regs over Christmas itself.....just a bit of common sense should suffice. The biggest thing for me is not going overboard on the stuffing, potatoes and gravy. Sprouts have never been on the temptation list hmmmmmm.
