Can anyone help, I need to send someone a trial balance in Excel spreadsheet format from a set of accounts on Sage. How can I export the details to Excel please.
Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Sage on this particular PC, but Sage does have an extensive Help menu which should have the answer to your question, otherwise the online help, Ask Sage, will have relevant articles.
Just go into "Reports", select "File" rather than "Print", "Email" or "Preview" and then when the options box comes up change the default option from "pdf" to "xls" or "xlsx" whichever one suits your version of Excel.
