How do you find what a business sold for?

Snap Fitness is a Minnesota based Company still under control of its founder. There was a minority investment deal, figure undisclosed - and rumours about it being up for sale, but nothing concrete. However, on the basis of sales at $80 mln a 20% stake would have probably been worth around 30-40 million.
