thank you for your help
You're welcome. Hope it all works out.
Have you tax planned the liquidation?

Sometimes it is better to get the company down to shell status by withdrawing money over a period and then to let the company go dormant and then apply to Companies House to be struck off.
My daughter started a business last december as a sole trader. business was slow initially but is now starting to pick up. She has a 3 year lease with rent of £2500 per quarter we have paid the last 2 quarters rent to help her get started. She paid her 1st business rates bill and has this morning received her annual business rates bill which is £515 per month. She is so upset because she can get no relief on this bill from the council (she has spoken to them) and business is not taking enough to pay everything and she is talking about paying off her suppliers and winding up the business. What are her options. We can afford to help her for a little while longer but she is very worried and so am I.
