Getting website to appear

Has anyone got any tips on getting your website to appear on search engine lists, I have tried a few things but it all seems sooo complicated and so far no luck at all .... I have registered it with google and yahoo and a couple of others but even if I put in my name, my business and all the key words it doesn't show up even then ????!!

its a mine field lady P. your best way is to google ''website traffic'' they will list companies that will do it for you then, you could always use the ad word way tho which means you pay each time someone enters a word thast you have entered, iwill have a look for a link for you.

There could be any number of reasons for this. How long have had the website? How long since you did the optimization on it? If you do the optimization badly you could possibly be put in the sandpit by Google or even banned outright.

If you want to do it yourself there's plenty of websites and forums which will help you. You can pay for the service (i.e. get someone to do it for you) but unfortunately we get a lot of spam emails offering this service which makes me doubt how well it would be done and makes me think theyre just in it for the money.

It's not difficult to do and is mostly common sense. Do a search for website optimization or something similar and see what you come up with.

I am not sure whether you have started doing SEO now. If not, it's high time to get in to it. Today's internet is greatly crowded and there are chances to get your website disappear in the crowd. It's better to hire an SEO company for better results. I go with http://www.submitinme.com for my SEO needs.
