Does any one know about USA customs tax?

I am a private seller in the UK selling a piece of second hand jewellery on ebay (�500 approx in value). Someone in the USA is interested and wants to know if she will have to pay USA customs tax when it arrives in USA. Does anyone know?

I am sorry,but it is really up to the buyer(in the US) to check whether customs themselves;that is not part of your responsibilty as an EBay seller(besides which if you were silly enough to do it,and got it wrong,she would probably want a refund!)
All you are responsible for is to inform her of the final amount of the goods plus the postage.
If it was reversed you wouldn't expect someone in the US to find out how much UK Customs duties you would pay would you.
If she doesn't like you telling her to do it herself,then I am sure someone else (hopefully in theUK)will buy it!
Honestly,these Americans want you hold their hands and everything! LOL
