I don't think anyone can tell you the safest time to get back into the markets. I can tell you the best time to get into an individual stock is when it's price goes to zero. What do you have to lose? :)

well i guess you must wait for couple of extra month give time to market to recover then start investing in stock. till then you can invest in forex its a good avenue of investment in recent times.....
