a developement company has aprroached me and 2 others to by teh plot of land we occupy.
I own one house the other chap 3
so all 4 owned between us.
he is keen to sell, im keen but not as keen but deal cant go ahead with out me (as we are in the middle of it all.

an offer has been made, but anyone kow how you are supposed o work out who gets what
divide by 4
by square footage?

the offer is substantial but I couldnt possibly by a house this size in the area for the amount being offerd,

I have a figure in mind but dont want to lose the deal
any developers out there who could advise

oh the other cap is a family member so not out to runi there lives by making the deal colapse just trying to find that fine line.

Whatever the offer is .. it's probably worth at least twice as much to them .. and they are probably thinking the same as you!
You need to work that one out with your friend ... Market value or area.
You should at least get enough to buy a similar house in the same area. Then something to cover the cost of moving and all the disturbance you'll be put through. What about asking an estate agent for an opinion?
