Various, fairly small amounts keep appearing in my bank account. Can anyone identify where they are coming from Pension wise?
£16.14 DWP.SP
£148.01 NCC Acc Payable.
I've tried to claim for anything I can but have never received any paperwork telling what and how these payments are made up.

Department of Work and Pensions, and I thought SP was state pension but very small amount it is approx 1 days worth. Do they owe you or could you have reached pensionable age with only 1 day in the week
Just a thought NCC could be a county council does yours begin with N and have you applied for housing or council tax benefit?
Question Author
I reached it the 6th May.

Yes, Northumberland. I applied for Housing Benefit but haven't heard from them. Is that amount a week or a month do you think? I've never had to do this before.
Question Author
I don't think it can be Housing Benefit as they sent me a letter yesterday asking for more infomation.
There should be a calculator on your local council web site, you could enter all your details and see what you come up with. Could they owe you some council tax from the house you moved out of or have you applied for council tax benefit.
Question Author
There's no way they owe Me money ubasses. I'll look at the calculator on the web site though. Thanks.
Hi Chrissa- could it be that you are now getting a rebate as you'll be eligible for a discount on your Council Tax if you are now the sole occupant
If the NCC payment is the first one that could include some arrears possibly.
I think the payment day was 'moved'. This meant they owed you, and others, one days money. Would that account for the £16.14?
Question Author
Thanks all. I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of it eventually.
Contact your bank, they will know what all the different code mean.
If chrissa, you only paid the married woman's NI stamp, then perhaps the £16.14 is all the State Pension you are entitled to, or may be you don't have enough stamps for a full SP?
I was pension age 6th May also but I don't get my first payment till 26th of this month. How many of these payments have you had?
Chrissa, ask your bank, ring 'em up - they will know.
