I recentley re mortgaged my house (£6K) but due to unforseen circumstances I want to increase it to £8K
Will this be a simple process or shall I have to go through it all again

If you have not completed on the £6k it should be upped if you meet criteria for higher amount. If all done and dusted you will have to go through it again and if you have a fixed rate or other deal with restricitive terms you may have to have the £2k separately.

depends on the type of mortgage you took ric.ror - some offer a further lending facility with no need for further forms, those are usually the offset type of flexible mortgages, but it wont do any harm to ask your lender even if you have a different type of mortgage.
