We are claiming Pension Credit and to make things a little easier we are considering becoming a host family to overseas students.
How much are we allowed to earn before our Pension Credit is affected ?

I suggest you ring the Pension Service & ask them - but don't necessarily rely entirely on their answer. You could also go to local CAB for advice.

Make sure you also consider whether there may be an effect on other benefits, such as Council Tax or Housing Benefit.
You may be exempt under the "rent a room relief" which is around £4500 pa
The answer by trainers assumes you are just going to rent out a room or rooms. I'm not sure whether that is the case, as you refer to how much you can "earn". Without more detail of what is involved it's not possible to be precise.
