Is it possible for a state pension to be paid into a joint account?
My mother is 86 and whilst mentally still alert mobility problems mean her visiting her branch is increasingly difficult

My daughter and I have a joint account and my state pension gets paid into it. There should not be a problem.

Thank you Granny
Getting Power of Attorney would be a better long term solution - waiting until she becomes unable is a recipe for disaster.

I dont really think its worth getting POA - she only has a few thousand savings
It doesn't matter about monetary value for POA, ric.ror, POA would give you the power to make decisions on her behalf if she becomes less mentally lucid.
Yes, mine is paid into to our joint account.
