Can someone please advise me about this.
I am on a small State Pension and Pension Credit.I am technically still married,we never divorced or legally separated,just lived apart.We still speak e

He receives a pension from Spain (he is Spanish) and has just found out that if he dies,I am entitled to half his pension for the rest of my life.

Apparently,I would have to inform the Social Security here in the UK and they sort it with the Spanish Pensions Department.

How would I stand ,would I lose my PC etc.?

It depends on how much the pension is. You may lose none of your Pension Credit, some of it, most of it or all of it. But of course PC will go when the new higher universal pension comes in

please tell me about the higher universal pension,what is this and when?

Just had a look at it on a w.eb page ,apparently it will only be for new pensioners
