Does anyone know if you still get extra state pension at 80 (I think it was something ridiculous like 25p) because I haven't received anything and i actually hope they have stopped it because it must cost more to administer than to pay out. I did post this a while ago but forgot to look for the answer and the reminder link didnt work.

Seems it still exists but not for much longer - if this PDF has not been rewritten.

Thanks Baldric, didn't know it was a duplicate.
At 80 your Winter Fuel Payment increases by £100.
If the £10 Xmas bonus had kept pace with the rate of inflation since it was first introduced it would be worth £124 today. On the other hand the £200 winter fuel allowance did not exist back then so I suppose in real terms we are better off.
MY PALS WIFE OVER 80 GOT 200POUNDS FUEL MONEY
IS THAT CORRECT
Yes
It would be if he was under 80 and received £100. If he is over 80 they should get £150 each
Yes - if he got £100 she should get £200.

If she lived on her own it would be £300.

If they are both over 80 it is £150 each.
Sorry, if she lives alone and was over Aged 80 or over on or before 21 September,it should be £300
