Winter Fuel Payment

My husband and I are both 74 and in the past have received £100 each for above. This morning however, his arrived and is for £200. Has there been a rise or are married couples getting one payment per couple?

The winter payment is £100 each.I suppose it i s easier to issue one cheque. All explained here:-

the winter payment is 200 per household unless you were born before 23/09/1938.

My understanding is that it is £200 per household.
