No

I do but not ones in public places

No. If I can't use cash or credit card I don't use the catr park.

I always use apps (such as RingGo or MiPermit) to pay for my car parking.

The only times that I use QR codes is for purposes that don't involve payments, such as when museums have QR codes alongside their displays to enable visitors to access oral history content.

There is a QR code on my friend's headstone. It takes you to a biography of his life, with photos and messages from his friends and loved ones

There have been a number of reported cases where fraudsters have over-stuck the QR code on car park signs – I wonder if those having paid the fraudsters, have been charged by the car park for not paying.

Would a winning defence in this situation (against the car park operator) be that they had not ensured the displayed payment method was genuine?
