Are there any rules governing early settlement? I borrowed 28k for a car, the car was 33k I paid 5k deposit. monthly payments of 430.00, have paid for 13 months still owe �27700.00 does not seem to work out to me. There is a final baloon payment of 15k if i run the loan term of 4 years.
