Another person blaming the bank for going over their overdraft!
Firstly in septmenber/october Ltsb sent out letters explaininng that they were removing the 'buffer zone' of 10 and also letting you know of the new charging structure, so its not like you can say you didnt know about it.
Secondly, you went over YOUR agreed o/d limit regardless of value you went over, and this was not caused by Ltsb it was caused the bank you used overseas charging you. So why shouldnt they charge you?
In answer to your last point about s/o, these are set up by you, not the bank. Its an agreemnet between you and recipient, and unless you decide to cancell the s/o it will continue to go out.
Why do you feel that these charges are unfair? because you didnt manage your account correclty the bank has a right to charge you for breaking the agreements set out i.e having an agreed o/d and you going over it.
As you can prob tell that i work for the said mention bank and i cant stand customers who feel hard done by because they cant manage thier accounts porperly.
