Money withdrawl from ISA

If I invest �1000 in an Isa ( opening deposit) to get a good rate, can I withdraw the money the next day. Dont know whether its possible, doesnt make it clear on the web site.

Probably - if the provider allows instant withdrawals as most do.
You probably won't earn any interest for the month you make a withdrawal though.

true, mate I think its a waste of time because its for my girlfriend and she has a free bank account at the moment and to set up one that supports dd's and so's would cost more than the isa would make in a year anyway cheers The G
