Return all the letters to the sender with an accompanying letter stating when she moved out and her current address.

If she was the benefit claimant and the benefit was being paid based on yous being a couple, you would be allowed to ask if benefit was still being paid, otherwise we are not allowed to discuss someone's benefit with another person unless we have prior consent.
If she was living with you she should not have had a housing benefit claim (or any other means tested benefit) as a single person, so your name should have been on all such claims. I assume she has moved out with the children & that you are on your own so not entitled to benefits. As the last post said, contact the authorities & tell them of the change of circumstances - otherwise you could be held liable for the overpayments as well as her.

If she was claiming benefits as a single parent (i.e. without naming you or anyone else as her partner) when she was living with you that is likely to be seen as fraud, quite apart from what she is doing now.
Report her to the Benefits Fraud Dept...if she is claiming and she shouldnt...then get her locked up. The more people who commit fraud, claiming benefits when they are not entitled getting locked up the better. Therefore less tax for us hard workers to have to pay.
(dont mind paying for prison bill...i think of it as a tax rebate!)
