I want to open a joint account with my husand - my credit history is ok but his is quite poor - even though he has loads more income than me sadly being self employed it doesn't always arrive on the right day so sometimes infact quite often payments have been late but not missed but this has effected his credit score. We want an account that we can set up on line and that will accept him. Thank you

If your credit history is ok...and your husbands not too good...then by having a joint bank account may effect yours (in a negative way) by being associated to each other. However, If you are already living togother, then this may b the case anyway.
Most banks offer online banking, or are you after one exclusively internet based???
If you go for a purely interenet based bank, then you will probably be declined as they tend to be a little more selective over their clients..(in other words, ones with a clear credit history)
I would try whoever your husband banks with for his business.
