I'm on maternity leave at the moment and was working in full time employment previously. I'd really like to stay at home and look after my child full time until he goes to school. If I decided to quit work and do this am I entitled to any benefits at all to help us do this. I'm married and my husband earns 28K. I know I'd be entitled to child allowance and family tax credits as I receive them now, but any idea how much tax credits we'd get each month? I have been lucky enough to have been in full time for 19 years.
