transfer of deed

I own a house with my ex. Both of our names are on the deed, yet only my name is on the mortgage. Can I transfer the deed to my mother as well as the mortgage? If so, how do I go about doing that?

You can't transfer the mortgage to your mother, she would have to take out her own mortgage and effectively buy the house from you.
