Cheques

Just a very small question! I sent the 22 fee to the DVLA for a duplicate licence. As I sent the wrong documents they returned my 22 fee in the form of a cheque (I paid it originally using my debit card online). Now I want to send the fee back to them (with the correct documents this time) so what do I need to do with the cheque so's they can cash it? do I sign it on the back? or just send it as it is? (I have tried phoning the DVLA to ask them, but they've been engaged all day so far). Cheers

Either way you can pay in any cheque payable to you by filling in the slip as normal and posting it with the cheque and a covering letter of request to pay in, to your bank branch. Just mark your counterfoil 'paid in by post'.
