quidity cards

does anyone know what stores accept quidity cards. it has maestro on but i asked asda and they dont accept it.

They were wrong. It is accepted wherever Maestro is accepted, which is pretty much everywhere these days.

You can use it wherever you see the Maestro logo (or if the shop has old stickers, a Switch logo).

Asda definitely take Maestro, so you can use it there without a a problem.

zacsmaster.thankyou,i knew i had seen it.does this apply in the store as well or just at home.do you know about iceland or farm foods. if they dont i might cancel it.

This is not a debit or credit card so even though it has the Mastercard logo shops do not have to accept it. Incidentally I see that it costs �5 to get the card and the charge is "from 3p for every �1 spent. That pushes your food bills up by a minimum of 3%. I think that is expensive when you consider it is a prepayment card. There is no charge for using a credit card if you pay your bill in full - which gives you up to a month of free credit.

sandmaster. it is the best option for someone like me who gets carried away which is precisely what would happen if i had a credit card. carried away to jail.mind you i would not have to pay for gas and electric.its like a holiday camp.free meals. the only problem is have they a bar..they have in broadmoor.

Sorry ginfran, I had assumed you meant for payments in store.

I know there is sometimes an issue with Quidity cards when you shop online, as the way payments are preauthorised doesn't work well with prepaid cards. I assume this is why they don't take them online.

If that is the case, it should mean there is no problem using it in store. To be on the safe side, I would just try it on a small shop (with cash in your pocket to cover it just in case there is a problem).
