My husband (grrrrrr!!) has just found a cheque in the attic for 500! Lovely! Well.... Actually maybe not... It is a National Savings Bank account cheque, with a warrant number etc. But... under the warrant number, it says Pay (my husband) within one month of... 30 May 1991 (!) .. "on production of bank book"....

Would he be able to put this in to his bank account now (I know - long shot!), or would it have to have gone in to a specific bank account (National Savings, with a bank book)?

Thanks.

Hey! BRUCIE BONUS! Just called the number on the back and they said to send it to them with a covering letter, and, no matter how old it is, and assuming it hasn't been cashed, they will issue a new one! YAY!
