Credit refused

Hi,
anybody understand why I would of been refused credit at curry's. Just went to buy a pc for about £800.00 on 12 month interest free credit. I was refused. Unbelievable!
I earn over £40:000 per annum and do not have anyone chasing me for money. I have a bank loan of £7:000 with my bank. That's no problem as I pay by direct debit every month with no problem. An argos card with only a couple of hundred quid left to pay until September. And my credit card is clear. Just got an iPhone from orange (£45 a month) with no problems. This has never happened to me before. I am perplexed! Any ideas?
Thanks

It might be worth your while asking for a credit rating report from experian or a company like that, just in case something has crept into your credit rating in error. It only costs about £3.

Thought that question might come up. I just spend it all. No savings. I get through over £2200 pound every 4 weeks. £445 a month paying back the bank loan. After rent, bills, food etc I only have about £450 pound a month to myself in my pocket. And I just spend it. Days out, dvd's, cd's eating out etc.
