I would ring them john and check as I know they make mistakes. We claimed a couple of years ago and were turned down then a couple of weeks ago my husband started receiving cheques from them. I haven't worked for two and a half years and my husband hasn't worked since May so we know we are not entitled. I have rung them to tell them and they said they would get back to me but he still received another cheque today!
They're blooming useless. My OH and I had single claims before we got married, then I phoned to cancel the single claims and submit a joint claim after he moved in. They overpaid us for months then said it was our fault as he hadn't phoned to personally end his claim. I'd been phoning for months to try and sort it out but no one told me he had to call. It's now 4 years on and it's been to the ombudsman and everything, but they still say it was our fault and we have to pay it back.
