Guatemala is one of the world's most beautiful countries, where they speak a language (Spanish) which actually seems to have some rules to it (unlike English!). It offers certain attractions to me.

Friendly people, historic cities (e.g. Bruges), lovely seaside resorts (e.g. Ostend & Blankenberge), great beer, superb chocolate, lovely seafood and (in the Flemish-speaking sector) the chance to clear the phlegm out of your throat every time you speak ;-)
