Books have no VAT does that mean i dont have to pay any tax when i import them?.


Also is there any law agaisnt importing books that have been published and printed in a different country to the UK and selling them here??.

what do you mean by that, copyright to only sell in one country?

Yes. Copyright owners can restrict the publication of their works. Its is a complex area of law, but can be found in the Copyright Designs and Patnets Act 1988
