I have some DVD's and all sorts at home but i feel they won't sell and if they would I wouldn't really make much money as people are selling same items. I am new to Ebay and I intend to expand and eventually do business on there.

As a start I am selling my DVD's. Can anyone give me advice on what items would sell and I could get good profits on ?

I doubt if you'll end up making a profit as there are so many other people selling CD's and DVD's. If I wanted to get rid of any I'd just put them on ebay and see what bids they make.

I just sold a DVD for Buy It Now offer for about 2 quid. Not much but it sold pretty fast. Gonna put more DVDs on soon. I can't seem to find the send invoice option? So I sent a money request via PayPal.

put them on at 99p no reserve.will boost your feedback score.tell the buyers to save you as a favourite because you are having a clear out.result!

Coming back to what i was saying about my item being sold, I cannot seem to send an invoice over through eBay ? When i checked my PayPal account, it states the payment from the buyer is "pending". Once the item is paid, would the option to send the invoice become available ?

As you can tell, I am new to selling on eBay. At the moment I have send a money request via PayPal via email to notify the buyer.

not buy it now.if you sell buy it now you get 99p.if you start it at 99p you may get a few people who want that particular movie and have a bidding frenzy!I sold one and two people wanted it.went for ten times that!

To send an invoice go into your list of sold items on ebay and there is a button to click on to the right that says send invoice. If it says payment pending on paypal it usually means that your buyers payment has not cleared so do not send your item until it does. When it has cleared it will say complete and you should get a message telling you that the payment has cleared.

yes pending means they have paid (with or without your invoice) and it is going through! don't send item until you have the blue pound sign though!

I recently sold an item for £2.50 on Ebay but on paypal its says £2.21 but clearly states that the buyer has paid £2.50. Has the money been deducted from Pay Pal ? Is that how they work ?

yes Paypal charge you for using that as your payment process
