Having a discussion here about if one won the lottery...oh.. chance would be a fine thing!!!..
one person is saying to avoid tax,which I believe is only on the interest..one could place it in a Swiss bank..
Another person is saying that then you cannot live in the UK.
I am saying there must be some sort of stipulations about placing ones money in such a bank and not paying tax.

Anyone else got anything to say or know about this kind of thing???

Sure made a big impact last year. As far as I am aware there is no hiding place now, ( well at least a safe hiding place)

Do you mean Guernsey, rojash?
If you live here it does not matter were your income is earned you pay tax on it.
The only may to minimise tax is to go and live in a low-tax country.
